Description
Cradle Lullaby is a work composed by young star composer Owain Park. Commissioned by the Wells Cathedral Chorister Parents’ Association, the work is arranged for Upper Voices and Piano (or Organ)accompaniment.
Cradle Lullaby has been recorded by the Wells Cathedral Choristers for their CD ‘Jingle Wells’,of which this composition was selected by BBC Radio 3’s CD Review Show as thehighlight.
In the March 2016 edition of Organists’ Review, Rebecca Tavener wrote that Cradle Lullaby is a ‘deliciously dreamy piece with its silken melody’ and ‘the word-settingandshapeliness of line is exemplary…Here’s a composer who knows very precisely just how many notes are enough.’
