Louis’s journey with the guitar began at the age of 13 when he discovered his passion for Rock music. As a teenager, his musical curiosity expanded to jazz guitar, laying the foundation for his versatile playing style. Determined to pursue a professional career in music, Louis relocated to London at 19 to immerse himself in the vibrant music scene.

At BIMM London, Louis honed his skills in Popular Music Performance under the mentorship of some of the UK’s most esteemed musicians. During his studies, he was scouted to showcase an original composition at Portcullis House, selected to perform at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush for a student showcase, and balanced his studies with professional gigs and tutoring. He is experienced in performing in settings such as wedding venues, corporate events, pit bands, orchestras, TV studios, and music festivals, establishing him as a versatile and sought-after guitarist.

Drawing inspiration from Rock, jazz, classical, and flamenco, Louis seamlessly blends these influences into his playing. While earning his degree, he developed a passion for teaching by enrolling in pedagogy modules, igniting a new dimension to his musical journey.

Louis’s teaching career includes three summers at a premier camp in Maine, USA, where he coached children for high-profile performances. He has provided private guitar lessons across London, Surrey, Cambridgeshire, and Wales. With over a decade of tutoring experience, Louis is known for nurturing confidence and musical growth in his students. His lessons are uniquely tailored, focusing on progress and enjoyment, ensuring each student’s individual potential shines.
