About

Steven Swindells founded AberMusic in 2023 with the aim of bringing together master music teachers throughout Ceredigion to inspire the next generation of musicians through high quality music lessons. Lessons are held in convenient locations throughout the area, including Aberystwyth, Llanon, Aberaeron and online. No matter your age or ability, we make it easy for you to access the highest quality music education.

At AberMusic, we believe in providing our students with the best possible lessons from the most experienced and skilled teachers. That’s why we’re proud to say that many of our teachers have trained at the most prestigious music institutions in the world, including the Royal College of Music. Our teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to lessons, helping students develop their skills and reach their full potential. Whether you’re interested in classical, jazz, or contemporary music, our teachers have the skills and experience to help you achieve your goals.

We are proud to prepare our students for music exams such as ABRSM, Trinity, MTB and ISOM with a 100% pass rate. Our experienced and inspiring teachers will guide you through every step of the exam process, ensuring that you are fully prepared to achieve your best results. In addition, our director, Steven, has undertaken ABRSM examiner training, giving our students a unique insight into the exam process and the skills required for success.

But it’s not just about exams. At AberMusic, we’re committed to providing a fun and supportive environment where anyone can learn and grow. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced musician, our programs are designed to help you develop your skills and achieve your musical dreams.

We are currently only offering lessons for Piano, Voice and Music Theory. We hope to be able to offer lessons on other instruments very soon
