As soloist on the Flute and Flute d’amour he has performed and recordedextensively. As a teacher he has been a professor at the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music and the author of the series of ‘Practice Books’ for the Flute which have achieved worldwide acclaim. Heis the founder of the British Flute Society.
